Tremayne's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Tremayne Lovell Laird, 38 of Conway, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Tremayne was born on October 30, 1976 in Searcy, Arkansas to Brenda Faye Laird and Verneal Williams. Tremayne worked as a toolpusher at Premier Well Services. He also served in the Marines from 1997 to 2003 where he fought during Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq. He attended the University of Central Arkansas and majored in business management from 1995 to 1998. He found his gift in life as a hardworker and family man and was a gentle giant. Tremayne later found the love of his life Latonia Laird and and married on October 10, 1998. He is preceeded in death by Allen Verneal Williams, Sr.; grandfather, Walter Henry Laird; aunt, Mable G. Pickett of Peona, Illinois and his uncle, Walter Laird, Jr. of Newport, Arkansas.


Tremayne leaves to cherish his most precious memories; his loving and devoted wife of 16 years, Latonia Laird of Conway, Arkansas; two children Kameron Laird and Diavian Laird of Conway, Arkansas; his parents Brenda Faye Laird of Augusta, Arkansas and Verneal Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas; four brothers, Marquese Laird of Beebe, Arkansas, Quinton Laird of Augusta, Arkansas, Verneal Williams, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, Antonio Williams of Fort Worth, Texas; four sisters, Michelle Harston of Cotton Plant, Arkansas, Deneena Harston, Mary Williams, and Lovetta Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; his mother and father in-law, Emanuel (Annette) Briscoe of Augusta, Arkansas; sister in-laws, Teresa and Debora Briscoe of Augusta, Arkansas; Jaquida Clark and Lacrisa (Lewis) Colley of Searcy, Arkansas; Sharonda (Lonnie) Brown of St. Mary's, Georgia; brother in-laws, Emanuel Briscoe, Jr. and Christopher Briscoe of Augusta, Arkansas, Branden (Desiree) Briscoe of Odessa, Texas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, 1:00pm at Holy Ghost Academy Church of God in Christ, 927 South 4th St., Augusta, Arkansas 72006.


Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 from 12 noon to 6pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
