Anna Marie Davis was born July 20, 1952 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Virgil Toney, Sr. and Lila Ruth Payne. She answered her call to her new home on Friday, September 22, 2017. Anna professed a hope in Christ Jesus at an early age. She moved to Michigan in her early 20's where her new life began. Anna got married, had children and gained a degree in early childhood development. She also had a profession in home healthcare. Anna was preceded in death by her sister Felicia Payne and her brother Virgil Toney, Jr. Anna leaves to cherish her loving memory, mother, Lila Ruth Payne; two sons, Kevin Toney of Flint, Michigan, Walter Kimble, III of Morrilton, Arkansas; two daughters, Necia Davis of Morrilton, Arkansas, April Davis of Conway, Arkansas; six brothers, Charles (Patricia) Criswell, Eric (Renell) Criswell, Frankie Payne, Mark Payne, Robert Payne, Robert (Beverly) Toney; nine sisters, Peggy Criswell, Jackie (Sherman) Black, Vanessa (Robert) Lee, Kim Payne, Lettianna (Raymond) Jeffers, Ruthie (Gary) Calvin, Linda Toney, Joyce (Guenther) Melvig, Mary Toney;eight grandchildren, including one very special granddaughter Jasmine Avery; two great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 from 5pm-6pm at Veasley Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017, 1:00pm at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 728, Mt. Olive Rd., Plummerville, Arkansas 72127. Committal service and final resting place will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Plummerville, Arkansas.
