Terry's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Terry Glen Miller.

Terry Glen Miller, 60, of Fort Smith, affectionately known as “Wine” was born August 8, 1956 in Houston, TX to the late Elmore Johnson and Naomi Solomon. Terry moved to Fort Smith, AR in 2000 where he met and married Julia Gilyard. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Terry was truly a giving man who loved his wife, family, friends, and his community. He never met a stranger. Terry always gave to anyone in need. Over the years, being in Arkansas allowed him to make a lot of friends. It did not matter, he loved everyone. He enjoyed life and the people around him. On Friday, June 16, 2017 Terry departed his Earthly vessel. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Demetrius Thomas and one brother, John Rogers.Terry leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife, Julia Miller of Fort Smith, AR; three sons, Derrick (Alma) Coleman of St. Clairsville, OH, Zackery (Jene) Miller of Tulsa, OK, Justin Caldwell of Fort Smith, AR; one daughter, Moneka (Corey) Williams of Fort Smith, AR; five brothers, Robert (Faye) Rogers, Jimmy (Pam) Rogers, Donnie (Clem) Miller and Fred Williams all of Houston, TX, Bobby Reese of Nacogdoches, TX; one sister, Tina Solomon of Houston, TX; extended brothers, Joe, Robert, James and David all of Houston, TX, John (Charletta) Woods and Steve (Doretha) Massey both of Fort Smith, AR; eleven grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held, Friday, June 23, 2017, from 6pm-7pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, 611 N. 9th St. Fort Smith, AR. 72901. Funeral service will be held, Saturday, June 24, 2017, 11:00 AM at St. James Baptist Church, 4916 High St. Fort Smith, AR. 72904. Committal service and final resting place will be at Oak Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR.
