In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Morfa Family. Vivian's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Vivian Bell Morfa.

On July 1, 2026, God only had to whisper, “Servant” and Vivian answered and took flight to her new home. Vivian Morfa was born to the late Rissie Parker on May 25, 1949, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was raised in a household of love and support under Belle and Wiley Ford. The house on North 30th Street was a safe and supportive place for family and friends. She was the “pillar” of her family and family was her “comfort”. She treated all of her nieces and nephews like they were her own children.
Vivian was educated in the Fort Smith School System; she was a proud Alumni of Lincoln High School and graduated from Northside High School. She attended The University of Pine Bluff (AM&N) where she was a Cheerleader and a member of Signa Gamma RHO. She was a devoted member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church her entire life; where she served in the Choir, Mission, CRC, Kitchen and Compassionate Care Ministry. She was employed and retired from Southwestern Bell (AT&T); Vivian lived her life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Nola Mae, Carolyn, Earnestine, Lonnie, Sharon “Tiny” Coleman, Sharon “Shirley” Parker and Betty. Grandchildren: Tayvian Jones and Tye Landon King.
Vivian leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved children: Neica Bettye Jones, Marcus Jones, Estel Tia King, Jose Morfa, Bryson Morfa and Angelic Morfa. Grandchildren: Dekavian, Daivon (Kira), Prince Gilmore, Taquan Pryor, Quinton King II, Seth King, Terrek Harris and Demi Barton. Brothers: Sherd “Sonny” Parker, Jr. and Gregg Fields. Sisters: Elizabeth White and Ribbie Parker. Bonus Brother: Bobby Henderson and best friend for over 60 years: Robbie Bray and Felicia Flake.
Along with other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A memorial celebration for family and friends will be held on Saturday July 11, 2026; 11:00am St. James Missionary Baptist Church 4916 High St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
