In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Maltbia family. Lee Edward's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Lee Edward Maltbia.

Lee Edward Maltbia, age 87 of Conway, Arkansas, passed away December 14th, 2024.

Lee was born February 5, 1937, in Conway, Arkansas, to the late Ephraim and Inez Maltbia. As a scholar, Lee attended Pine Street High School. As a young adult, Lee became a proud member of the United States Air Force. He later married Barbara Ann Maltbia.

Lee was known for his since of humor and no-nonsense approach to life. After retirement, Lee dedicated much of his time to the well-being of the True Holiness Saints Center, Inc. He volunteered for over twenty years as a parking lot attendant and van driver.

Lee is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Barbara Ann Maltbia, his grandson Health Veasley Rogers, his parents, and his brothers Charles Maltbia and Jerry Maltbia.

His legacy will live on through the hearts of his six children, Diane Veasley (Theodore) Jones, Henry Veasley, Jr., Dwight Lasker, Gena Maltbia (Tim) Ester, Pastor E. Cornell (Natasha) Maltbia, Natalee Maltbia (Darren) Threets all of Conway, Arkansas: 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Joel (Wanda) Maltbia, and Earnett (Valeria) Maltbia, all of Conway; one sister Joan (Samuel) Bunting of Conway, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 E., Conway, Arkansas 72032.


Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024, 2:30pm at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 E., Conway, Arkansas 72032.


Committal service and final resting place will be held at Sinai Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
