Katrina's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Katrina Maltbia-Beatty.

Ms. Katrina Sherette Maltbia Beatty was born on December 31st, 1973 to Ethel Payne and Larry Maltbia of Conway, Arkansas. She departed this life on September 7th, 2024. Ms. Katrina accepted Christ in her early childhood ages. She loved dancing, music, hanging with loved ones, and celebrating life with her grandchildren. She graduated from Conway high and pursued her education with the Texas school of phlebotomy where she graduated with a certification as a phlebotomist. She was a phlebotomist at Arlington memorial hospital. After relocating back to Conway Arkansas she continued her career at Conway regional hospital for 7 years. Katrina  pursued entrepreneurship and started her own cleaning service.

Ms. Katrina was preceded in death by her paternal grandparent, Baxter and Gladys Maltbia; maternal grand parents, Jethro Sr. And Permilla Tyus; uncles, Edward Simpson, Buford Maltbia, Kenny Tyus; aunts,   Harriet, and Ottie Maltbia rozzie Simpson, and Shirley tyus; her sister Lesley Maltbia.
Ms. Katrina Sherette Maltbia leaves to cherish her loving memories, her loving parents Larry Maltbia and Ethel Payne of Conway, Arkansas. Her first and only daughter, Deontray Maltbia of Arlington, Texas; her two sisters, Karlis Jordan of Memphis, Tennessee, and Regina Maltbia of Conway, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Darion, A’mia, Jeremiah, and Princeton of Arlington, Texas, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friend members and friends who love her and truly miss her.Â

Celebration of life graveside committal service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, 3:00pm at Robinson Cemetery, 1198 Lincoln St., Conway, Arkansas.
I'm very heartbroken that my cousin Katrina is gone. I'm going to miss her so much. Rest in paradise Katrina. ðŸ˜
