Mike and Bennie divorced in 1973 . Throughout his life, Mike faced several mental health challenges, yet his resilience and enduring love never wavered. In later years, after reconnecting with his children, it became clear to them just how deeply he cared. Mike was known for his warm spirit and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He cultivated many friendships over the years, each one a testament to his kindness and sincerity. Mike was straightforward and would tell you exactly how he felt.
