In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Sigers family. Annette's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Annette Sigers.

Annette Sigers was born on October 14, 1915 in Houston, Mississippi to the late Mr. & Mrs. Bennie Sigers. She moved to Fort Smith at an early age. She departed this life on February 2, 2018 to join her Savior.

Miss Sigers was a beloved figure in her community. She never met a stranger. She was known for her outgoing personality and stylish dress. She was a very generous person, who did not hesitate to help those in need. Although she had no children of her own, she was a mother figure to many in her community.

Those who knew Miss Sigers well, knew of her profound love of the Lord. She was a devoted member of Quinn Chapel AME Church for over 70 years. She was a church Trustee, and a member of the Lay Organization. Miss Sigers was one of the first recipients of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Achievement Award.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory a Niece, Pauline Norris of Chicago, IL; Great Nieces, Brenda Bartlett of Fort Myers, FL, Sherrie Bartlett of Raymone, MD, Myra Gray of Kansas City, MO; Grand Nephews, Anthony Bartlett and Felix Baker both of Kansas City, MO; a Great Great Niece, Jeanine Hawkins, and a host friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6-7 PM at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.

Celebration of life graveside service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018, 11:00 AM at Oak Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR.

Committal service and final resting place will be at Oak Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR.
