Felix's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Felix Harrison Wright, III.

Felix Harrison Wright, III was born May 28, 1951 to the late Emma J. Cravens Cole and Phelix H. Wright, Jr. in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Felix was also preceded in death by his son Felix H. Wright, IV; one brother, Cedric C. Marable, Sr. and one sister, Linda Faye Wright-Hogue.
Felix devoted his life to Christ at an early age and united with Quinn Chapel AME Church. He received his education in Fort Smith Public Schools and went on to attend college in Hot Springs. Felix was a very hard worker. He worked for Experian Security Co. for over 15 years. He was kind to everyone he met. He loved joking and making people laugh. Felix gave everyone he met there very own nickname. He will be missed by all.
Felix leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife, Gloria Mays-Wright of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four daughters, Erika (Julian) Jernigan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Meka Wright Rice of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Janaia (Derrick) Wright-Walker of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Ariana (James) Wright-Dorsett of Muldrow, Oklahoma; four brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) Collier of Fresno, California, Harry Wright of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dwindle (Rose) Wright of Ruston, Louisiana, Kenneth (Camelia) Simpson of Rockford, Illinois; one sister, Helen (Ralph) Norwood of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one special sister, Marilyn Stratford of Little Rock, Arkansas; twenty grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6-7 PM at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, 1:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 4503 Young St. Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Washington Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
