Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Matthew Dewayne “King” Dorsey, Jr. was blessed upon us on December 11, 2016. He earned his Heavenly wings on March 21, 2017. With his passing we remind others that this life is one to be celebrated. Matthew will forever remain in our hearts and was the light of our lives. He was definitely our “King” and was an Angel in disguise. Matthew is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Loretta and Bobby Anderson and great-grandfather, Timothy Callans.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, father, Matthew Dorsey, Sr. of Russellville, AR.; mother, Enashia Callans of Morrilton, AR.; seven sisters, Ki’Mya and Makylee Callans both of Morrilton, AR., Liyha, Mataija, Jordyn, Madison of West Memphis, AR., Kaydence Dorsey of Morrilton, AR.; grandfathers, A.D. Dorsey of Earl, AR., William (LeAnn) Callans of Dover, AR.; grandmothers, Karen (Cardell William) Callans of Morrilton, AR., Veella Brown of Russellville, AR.; great grandparents, Andy (Mary) Dorsey, Maggie (Finus) Brown; great-grandmother, Margaret Callans of Russellville, AR.; special grandmother, Carolyn Donald and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2017, from 6pm - 7pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Funeral will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017, 1:00pm at Light of the World Church of God in Christ, 601 Wall St. Morrilton, Arkansas 72110.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Morrilton, Arkansas.
