John's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. John Cleveland Redmond.

John Cleveland Redmond, 47 years of age, was born August 23, 1969 at Blytheville Air Force Base, Arkansas to the late Bernease Roberson and John H. Redmond. He went home to join them on February 9th, 2017. John was a loving father, brother and friend. He was a die hard Arkansas Razorback fan who loved to travel and play golf. John had a love for Rock music and taking his son Ian to his drum lessons and concerts. A favorite past time of John's was playing "Texas Hold 'em" poker with his friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jimmy Bradford; two sisters, Mary LaVon Moore and Regina Moser. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, son, Ian Quinn Redmond and Lesli Redmond of Sherwood, Arkansas; wife, Angela Redmond of Melbourne, Florida; two stepsons, Warren Bryant of Franklin, North Carolina and Hunter Puntervold of Toccoa, Georgia; brothers, Thomas Bradford of Gasnell, Arkansas, Herbert Bradford of North Little Rock, Arkansas, William Bradford of Sherwood, Arkansas; sisters, Willonia Marlene Mikel of Cabot, Arkansas, LaVena Pilcher of Nevada, Missouri, Gloria Nickles of Conway, Arkansas and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and friends.


Celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 12:00 noon at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, 117 W. Maryland Ave., Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
