Kirby "Leon" Mosby was born November 2, 1934 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Henry and Hazel Price Mosby. He was the fourth child to this union. He professed a belief in Christ at an early age and was a member of Sinia Church of God in Christ. After moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma he became a member of 1st Baptist Church of North Tulsa. "Leon" also serviced in the United States Army and was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. He departed this life on Sunday, April 2, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a brief illness. Leon had one daughter, Shontell Renee Mosby; three brothers, Wardell, John and Jerry Mosby; one sister, Billy Jean Mosby who all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Victor (Tasha) Grimes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, Jacob (Mary Ann) Mosby of Conway, Arkansas; three sisters, Barbara (Lee) Maltbia and Joyce Haynes both of Conway, Arkansas and Donna (Limmie) Ferguson of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one uncle; one aunt and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 from 6pm-7pm at Veasley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016, 11:00am at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 East, Conway, Arkansas.
