MaeDean's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelation 21:4 says, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain, for the former things are passedaway. Claudia MaeDean Credit was born in Conway Arkansas to the union of Willie Crenshaw, Sr. and Estelle Rogers-Crenshaw on March 19, 1944. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended White City Public School. She married the late Harvel Flood and relocated to Flint, Michigan, to the union one child, Lisa Flood-Britton. In 1979, MaeDean relocated back to Conway and married the late Morris Credit. She worked for General Motors and various restaurants as head cook. Cooking was her passion and all was welcome to her dinner table.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Estelle Crenshaw; brother, Willie Crenshaw, Jr.; sisters, Hattie Crenshaw-Stubbs and Lois Crenshaw-Tabor.


She leaves to cherish her loving memory; daughter, Lisa Flood-Britton; one granddaughter, Nichole Flood of Las Vegas Navada; three great-grandchildren, Sarah Tenner (Melvin) of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Derrick and Ketara Braggs of Las Vegas Navada; one great-great granddaughter, Anyiah Tenner of Jacksonville, Arkansas; brother, James Crenshaw of Conway, Arkansas; sisters, Lorene Crenshaw of Kansas City, Kansas, Florene Crenshaw-Bullock of Kansas City, Kansas, Barbara (Sefoster) Smith of Mt. Morris, Michigan; three stepchildren, Narvel, Kendra, and Sylvanus Flood, all of Flint, Michigan and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves to cherish her memory special friends, Monroe McCoy of Conway, Arkansas, Mrs. Lue Flood and Mable Jenkins both of Flint, Michigan.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015, 11:00 am at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 East Hwy 286, Conway, Arkansas 72032. Mrs. Credit will be lying in state for public viewing on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 12 noon to 6:00 pm for family and friends.
