Vadean’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Mrs. Vadean Walls Balenton was born February 4, 1933, to the late Mack H. Walls and Beatrice Opal Stewart Thomas in Conway, Arkansas. She departed this life on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Conway Regional Hospital, Conway, Arkansas. Her parents and four siblings preceded her in death.
She accepted Christ and united with the Pleasant Branch Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas, where she remained a member until death.
Mrs. Balenton was an employee of the Virco Mfg. company in Conway, Arkansas, and most recently, the Arkansas Foster Grandparent Program. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and sharing with neighbors and family with an infectious smile and personality.
Honoring her memory and celebrating her homegoing is a daughter, Mona Mattison-Jones of Conway, Arkansas, and a son Kevin R. (Katie) Williams, of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Also celebrating her homegoing are her grandchildren Lee, K.J., Shon Paul, Kote Bea, and RyLeigh, great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Andrew, nephew Lloyd Hervey, niece Penny Walls, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Walk through visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, 11:00am at Sinai Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
