Rodney’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Rodney Sinclair Morris.

Rodney Sinclair Morris was born Sunday, October 30th, 1977 in Conway, Arkansas. He departed this earthly life on Friday, February 26, 2021. Rodney Accepted Christ at an early age and was an active member at Jones Chapel AME Zion Church. Once settled, he and his family attended Sweet Home - The Pinnacle of Praise in Round Rock, TX, until he was called home. Rodney graduated from W.W Samuel High School and later joined the United States Navy serving his country for 10 years and traveling to places such as Virginia, Georgia, and all over the world, finally settling in Texas. He was employed by Samsung in Austin, TX. Rodney married Tawanja, and they have two sons, Tyrin and Triston. Rodney was very fun loving, hard working, and dedicated to his wife, boys and to his family. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, and traveling to visit family, while loving hard on his family and close friends. Rodney was an avid sports fan and was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan.
Rodney was preceded in glory by his dad, Henderson Walter Clay Jr and grandparents Clora woods, Virginia Tillman, Lillie Bell Clay and Velma Smith.
Rodney leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife Tawanja, sons, Tyrin Curry and Triston Morris all of Pflugerville, TX, parents Albert and Anna Smith, of Conway, Ar, Algie and Joyce Curry of Grand Prairie, TX, brother Greg Smith of Mariana, AR and Algie Curry Jr, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sisters Regina Veasley of Conway, Latonya Veasley of Mansfield, TX, Tonia Curry, Tiffany Curry, a godson Corey Bell Jr., all of Grand Prairie, TX; the last living child of his great-grandmother's and someone he loved dearly, his mentor and great-uncle, James "Billy" Woods, of Conway Arkansas, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Walk though visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 5:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 on the capus of True holiness Saints Center, 198 East Hwy 286, Conway, AR 72032.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave. North Little Rock, Ar 72120
