Norma Jean Springs was a gift from God on Sunday, May 8, 1932 to the late Thomas Springs and Devola Shoates in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was called to enter into her eternal rest in the heavenly realm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from Spiro, Oklahoma. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Springs, Sr.
Norma attended Madam C. J. Walker Beauty School. She never met a stranger that she didn’t love. She loved singing and playing the organ and piano. Most of all, she loved the Lord and the Ministry. She was Minister at the Spiro New Testament Holiness Church, and she was truly a God-fearing woman.
Norma had a passion for taking care of people. She was a nurse’s aid, until her mother became ill. She stopped working to take care of her mother until she passed. Norma continued to preach and teach people about the goodness of the Lord; she was a faithful upright Christian woman.
Norma will always be cherished be her family and friends in the Fort Smith and Oklahoma areas. She lived her life loving the Lord, and her reward is in Heaven.
