Jimmie’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Jimmie Don Henley.

Jimmie Don Henley was a gift from God on Saturday, July 20, 1940 to the late Joseph and Gladys (Stiles) Henley in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was also called by God to take his eternal rest on Friday, January 28, 2022 from Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Jeannie Keener and Bill Henley.
Jimmie attended the Public School System of Greenwood, Arkansas. He graduated from Greenwood High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served for seventeen years before retiring. He met his wife, Sangita, in the Fiji Islands while he was on vacation; and their love story began. They lived in Roland, Oklahoma. They vacationed throughout United States and some overseas.
Jimmie will be forever cherished by his wife: Sangita Henley of Roland, Oklahoma; his son: Roy (Helen) Henley of Bismarck, North Dakota; his four daughters: Sangita Layla and Shree Nandini Henley both of Roland, Oklahoma, Diana (Dennis) Brown and Mary (Bill) Haller all of Muldrow, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren: Philip, Gaylan, Theodore, George, Elska, Shannon, Athena, Helen, Melissa, Beth, James, Dunn, Dustina, Lisa and Nicole and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
