Ms. Evelyn Jean Howard was born on October 7, 1957 to the late Willie Henry Howard and Naomi Glover in Scott, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Braggs Sr., Larry Luckey Sr., and Henry Lee Howard and one Sister, Mrs. Willie Brown.
Ms. Evelyn accepted Christ at an early age and had continued her walk with the Lord as an adult by becoming a Member of First Baptist Highland Park of Little Rock. She was known to be a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with her Children and Grandchildren.
Ms. Evelyn Jean Howard departed this life on Monday, September 5, 2022. Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory: Sharon D. Adkins, Lisha M. Howard, Quince R. Lipsie, Michael (Shontell) Howard, and Tony Howard. One brother Will Henry Howard, two sisters, Thelma Swift and Ethelene McCarrell and a very special friend, Ms. Michelle Hunter. She also leaves to cherish her memory seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of beloved nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Public visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10:30am to 11:30am with Celebration of Life service, 11:30am at Life Abundant Ministries, 4003 Roundtop Dr., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8507 AR-161, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
