Doris’ earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Doris McCutchen.

Doris Jean Embry McCutchen was a blessing from God on Monday, September 4, 1944 to the late Sherman “SD” and Beatrice (Toles) Embry in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was also called by God to take her eternal rest on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by her son: Bryon Tucker; her grandson: Bryon Tucker, Jr.; her sister: Marilyn Smith; two brothers: Sammy and Roy Gene Embry; her step-mother: Sandra Embry and a nephew: Nakia Embry.
Doris attended the Morrilton Public School System. She was employed for many years in the manufacturing industry. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a sociable and outgoing person who loved having fun. She was also loving and outspoken. She truly loved to cook.
Doris will be forever remembered and cherished by her granddaughters: Rosemary and Tanisha Tucker both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her seven great-grandchildren; her six sisters: Marshia (Thomas) Wilson and Vanessa Starks all three of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Rochelle Bloodsaw and Deirdre Embry both of Russellville, Arkansas; Yolanda Cornell of Florida and Stephanie Cox of Kalamazoo, Michigan; her three brothers: Gary Bloodsaw of Phoenix, Arizona; Shannon Embry of Sacramento, California and Clayton Bloodsaw of Russellville, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Ninth Street Church of Christ 1930 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
