David's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of David Wayne Thompson.

David Wayne Thompson, age 59; was born on May 27, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky to Elizabeth Richardson-Thompson and the late James E. Thompson, Sr. He departed this life on Monday January 19, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
David served in the United States Army Reserve and was a self-employed Mechanic at Seven and Seven Auto Sales in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He loved to shoot pool, swimming and spending time with his friends.
David was preceded in death by his father James E. Thompson, Sr., brothers James Thompson, Jr., and Jason Lykins Thompson.
Leaving to share his memories is his mother Elizabeth Thompson; sisters: Patricia Smith and Katherine Walling. Brother Chad E. Thompson and one (1) great-great nephew. Special friends: John Hall and Darla Burns along with many friends who will truly miss him.
