In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Wilson family. Catherine’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mother Catherine Wilson.

Mrs. Catherine Wilson was born on February 23, 1929 to the late Villia and Mattie Brockman in Wooster, Arkansas. She was the youngest of her siblings. Mother Wilson is preceded in death by her parents, Villia and Mattie Brockman; husband, Willie Wilson; daughter, Linda Forte; son-in-law, Clarence Forte; brothers, Veris Brockman, Elmer Brockman, Luke Brockman; sisters, Inez Brockman Brandon, Beatrice Brockman Greenlaw, Sarah Brockman, Maebelle Brockman Givens, Dorothy Brockman Ealy, and Catherine Brockman Wilson.


Mother Wilson leaves to cherish her loving memory, grandchildren, Kevin Goff, Kimberly Goff, Carmela Forte, Charmone (Marcus) Hervey, Marshella Forte all of Conway, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.


Family and friends walk through visitation will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, 11:00am at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 53 Pilgrim Rest Rd., Greenbrier, Arkansas.


Committal service and final resting place will be held at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.
