In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Cole family. Sandra’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Sandra Cole.

Sandra Lee Cole was one of four children blessed by God to be born to the late Sanger and Emma Line (Johnson) Anderson on Saturday, August 14, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. God called her to take her eternal rest on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Cole, and two siblings, Delbert and Mack Anderson.

Sandra loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a fun-loving lady, who never met a stranger. She was never afraid to tell you the truth about any situation. She also enjoyed traveling, a game of cards, and eating strawberry cake.

Sandra leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Russell Cole of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her son, Russell Cole, II of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her two daughters, Virginia (Pernell) Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Barbara Shaw of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister, Elaine Williams; her six grandchildren, Martyn Page of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Nickyla Roussell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jasmine Cole of Little Rock, Arkansas, Michel’le Mister of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Atianna Smith, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Lanashia Cole of Stuttgart, Arkansas; 15 great-great grandchildren, and a host of many of other relatives and friends.
