Mickey’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Mickey Credit.

Mickey L. Credit was born on March 15, 1943 in Mayflower, Arkansas to the late Huie and Ionia Cook Credit. He is preceded in death by his son, Patrick Credit; grandparents, John and Pearlee Cook and Troy and Renard Credit; sisters, Pauline Harper and Lou Ella Reece; brothers, Morris, Troy Lee, JC, Willie and AB Credit.
Mickey accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Mickey worked as a farmer for over 40 years and retired from Ace Hardware after 10 years. Mickey was a source of laughter and joy to many. He was someone you could depend on to brighten your day and make you laugh.
Mickey leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife, Patricia Credit; son, Vinson (Debbie) Credit of Sherwood, Arkansas; daughter, Pamela White of Mayflower, Arkansas; grandsons, Jeryl McNeil, Trey White, Jaylon Credit and Mondrell Ellis, Jr.; granddaughters, Mercedes Fennell, Sydney Lewis, Paris Ellis, Trinity Ellis, Armoni Ellis, Jamie Eade, Anika Eade, Ty'arrah Walker and Rheagn Whitaley; great-grandchildren, Khloe and Jordan; adopted family, Bernice Wallace, Jessica McGehee, Willie Eade, Richard Eade, Pum Eade, Monty Ellis and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public walk-through visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2020, from 12:00noon to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life graveside service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020, 10:00am at Palarm Chapel Cemetery in Mayflower, Arkansas.
