In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Straham family. Warfield’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Warfield Millard Straham.

Warfield Millard Straham was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Thursday, November 16, 1967 to the late Fern E. (Roby) Straham and the late Walter Hall. He was called by God on Friday, June 19, 2020 to take his heavenly rest.

Warfield accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Zion CME Church in Fort Smith where he was an active member as a youth. He also had a passion for singing and really loved singing in the Youth Choir.

Warfield attended the Fort Smith public schools until his family moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where he attended the Little Rock school district and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in the year 1986. After graduation he continued his education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Warfield was an employee of Wal-Mart in Fort Smith and enjoyed his job for the last 12 years.

Warfield leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Clarence (Carlotta) Straham of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Walter (Ann) Straham of Alpharetta, Georgia; two sisters, Cynthia (Harold) Evans of Little Rock, Arkansas and Twyler Wilson of McKinney, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.
