In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Knauls family. Victor’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Victor L Knauls.

Victor Lewis Knauls was born to the late Esther Mae (Knauls) Anderson on October 10, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Norwood, and a great-nephew, Terrance Holman.

Victor accepted Jesus Christ as his Savoiur as a child and joined First Church of God in Christ. He later joined Faith Tabernacle, then moved his membership to the Healing Place. He was a graduate of the Fort Smith Public District. Throughout his life, Victor had several jobs; Whirlpool, Crain, Rheem, Atlanta Plastics, Moll Tool and Plastics, and Cavanaugh Activity Center.

Victor was a very friendly person who never meet a stranger. He loved helping people regardless of their race, color, or creed. Victor was truly a people-person. He loved cooking and helping to take care of the elderly. He also loved taking food to people in need. He volunteered for about 10 years at a local Food Bank under the supervision of Charlotte Tidwell.

Victor leaves to cherish his loving memories, a sister, Regina Anderson; three nieces, Mia Watson, Kristy Williams, and Gwen O’Neal; two nephews, Brain Norwood and Tracy Holman; three great-nieces, Bryakila Williams, Destiny Holman, and Erickah Holman, two great-nephews, Montez Williams and Terrance Holman, Jr.; his second mother, Mary F. Kursh; best friend, Toyia Fisher all of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and a host of many other relatives and friends.

 

*By executive order of the Governor to protect public health and safety, and based on current Federal laws and city ordinances, Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. has adopted the following temporary rules and regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic:

1. FAMILY ONLY AT FUNERALS/GRAVESIDE SERVICES ARE LIMITED TO 25 PEOPLE

2. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL NOT HAVE CHAIRS FOR SEATING

3. ONLY 10 PEOPLE MAY COME TO THE FUNERAL HOME FOR INITIAL VIEWINGS

4. NO LIMOUSINE SERVICE

5. NO PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS OF FUNERALS VIA NEWSPAPER, WEBSITE, OR STAFF

6. NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR WAKES
