In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Foster family. Gary’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Gary R. Foster.

Gary R. Foster was born on August 22, 1985 in Conway County Hospital to Bobby Ryan and Betty Foster. He departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior on March 25, 2020.


Gary professed a hope in Christ at Greater Union Hill Baptist Church. He later became a minister under Bishop Frank Anderson at New Zion Temple Church of God In Christ in Conway, Arkansas. Gary graduated from Morrilton High School in 2004. He played football throughout high school and later for Arkansas Tech University and received his Associate Degree in Sociology. He then went on to graduate from Everest College with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. On February 17, 2012 he married Melissa Davis and to this union two children were born, Shiloh Foster and Karissa Foster. He had just begun a career as a truck driver that he was very excited about. Gary loved football, fishing, working out and family time.


Gary leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Melissa Foster; five beautiful children, Shiloh Foster, Karissa Foster, Cavery Foster, Raylissa English, Maray English; mother, Betty Foster; two sisters, Lotsee Foster and Rolisa Ryan; mother in law, Mary Davis; seven sister in laws; three brother in laws and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
