Edgar McGhee Jr. was born July 29, 1955 in Little Rock, AR to the late Flossie Gorman & Edgar McGhee. Edgar attended JC Cook High School in Wrightsville, Arkansas. Edgar worked at Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Edgar untied with Virginia Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. Stewart. Edgar was preceded in death by his parents.
Edgar leaves to cherish his loving memory, two sisters, Margaret Bagby of Russellville, Arkansas, Jewell McGhee Floyd (Robert), of Wrightsville, Arkansas; one brother, Rev. William M. Jones (Ruth) of Bullhead, Arizona; a special caring relative, Perlean Jones; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Public visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Virginia Baptist Church, 14102 AR-365, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Celebration of life service will be held, Saturday, December 7, 2019, 11:00am at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 321 S. Houston Pl, Russellville, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Reeds Cemetery, Russellville, Arkansas.
