Lynessa's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Lynessa Jones.

Lynessa Sha’Juan Jones was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on October 19, 1985 to Bobby and Brenda Jones. She is preceded in death by her maternal and parental grandparents.
Lynessa accepted Christ at an early age and joined the House of Prayer & Praise Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral direction of Rev. Johnny Freeman. On June 1, 2019 Lynessa accepted her call from God and entered into his heavenly gates. She was educated through the Fort Smith Public School System and graduated from Southside High School in 2008.
Lynessa possessed a caring heart and a giving spirit, who loved her family and always put their interests first. She had a beautiful smile that could light up any room. Lynessa was an avid reader and shopping was her favorite pastime.
Lynessa leaves to cherish her loving memories her father, Bobby Jones; her mother, Brenda Jones; a brother, Marcus Jones all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a sister, LaTosha Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; three nieces, Leyna, Shala, and Adela, who loved her very much, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2019 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the House of Prayer & Praise Missionary Baptist Church 4307 Mussett Ave. Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
Committal service and final resting place will be held Monday June 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
