Velma's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Velma Sue Liddell.

Velma Sue Liddell, 82, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on January 10, 2019. She was born on April 23, 1936 to the late Arden and Ethel Rader in Fayetteville, Arkansas.


Velma was preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie and Charles Rader.


Velma graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1954. She married the late Stewart Liddell in 1954, and they lived in Fayetteville for most of their lives. Velma was a home maker and a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Fayetteville, Arkansas.


Velma leaves to cherish her loving memory, three children, Steven (Lora) Liddell of Conway, Arkansas, Stacey (Kathy) Liddell of Bothell, Washington, Scott Liddell of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one brother, Kenneth Rader of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one sister, Blanche (Carle) Liddell of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.


Committal service and interment will take place at a later date and will be announced by Veasley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make all contributions to Alzheimer's Research.
