Darlene's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mother Darlene Bickham.

Darlene Elaine Bickham was born on June 26, 1959 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Lillie Bell Stewart Bickham. Darlene was 59 and departed this life on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. Darlene accepted Christ at an early age and attended New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed. She sung in the choir and was in the women's mission. She graduated From Russellville High School in 1977. Darlene had a few jobs until she couldn't work anymore. She then became a full-time grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and daughter dearly. She loved fish and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She became a Facebook fan too! Darlene was preceded in death by her mother Lillie Bickham; three aunts; three uncles and her grandparents. Darlene leaves to cherish her loving memory, her only child, Tamara Bickham of Russellville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Sabra Farrow and Ja'len Payne both of Russellville, Arkansas. She really loved her grandchildren; her "sisters", Carolyn May, Lillian Green, Judy Wilson; best friends for years, Phyllis Walls and Pam Williams both of Russellville, Arkansas, Neat and Carol Martin of Kennett, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 300 South Houston Ave., Russellville. Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018, 11:00am at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, Russellville. Committal service and final resting place will beheld at Reeds Cemetery, Russellville, Arkansas.
