Mary's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mrs. Mary Welspom.

Mary Louise Harris-Welspom, 66, of Springfield, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; Louria RB Harris and Louise Virgil; one brother, Louria Harris, Jr. She leaves to cherish her lasting memory; two sons, Milton D. Harris (Linda) of Kansas City, Missouri and Neal A. Harris (Valtria) of Marrietta, Georgia; one daughter, Monique N. Chambers (Victor) of Independence, Missouri; five brothers, Robert Earl Harris (Susie), Leroy Harris (Linda), LeeOtis Harris, Micheal D. Harris (Veronica), and Tyrone Harris; five sisters, Velma R. Arnold, Thelma Hammonds (Mathew), Wilma Phelps, Gail Reece (Steve) and Sheila Williams (Timothy); ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.


Family will recieve friends Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6pm - 7pm at Veasley Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.


Funeral services will be held, Saturday, May 9, 2015, 12:30pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 105 Arnold St. Plumerville, Arkansas.


Interment will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
