In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Walker family. Wanda’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Wanda Sue Walker.

Wanda Walker, 56, the daughter of the late Herman and Joyce Speaks in Fort Smith, Arkansas took her last breath on January 4, 2020. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Speaks.


Wanda was a graduate of the Fort Smith Schools. She was a member of the New Covenant International Christian Center.


She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, James Walker of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two sons, John Humphrey of Los Angeles, California and Lucas Carr of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a sister, Pam (Brian) Stebbins of Fort Smith, Arkansas, two grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.


Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at New Covenant International Christian Center 4400 North N Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
