Jimmy’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Jimmy Leroy Flurry.

Jimmy Leroy Flurry, “Cokamo” the son of the late Elinor Leroy Arnold, Jr. and Virginia (Flurry) Pankey, was born on Sunday, April 4, 1954 in Moffett, Oklahoma. He left this world on the evening of Saturday, February 8, 2020. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Elinor Leroy Arnold, III and a sister, Pat Simpson.
Jimmy accepted Christ at an early age and was a long-time member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Moffett, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of the Roland Public Schools in Roland, Oklahoma, where he was known for playing basketball. For a period of time, he was employed with Campbell Soup in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Jimmy was a well-known guy throughout the areas of Moffett, Redland, Muldrow, Roland, and Fort Smith. He loved his family and loved living life to the fullest each day. He was also very proud of being from Moffett and would let everyone know.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories his six brothers, Sherron Arnold, Danny Arnold, Eddie (Gloria) Arnold all four of Fort Smith Arkansas, Randall Arnold of Temple, Maryland, Kevin Arnold of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Eric (Drecie) West of Fort Smith, Arkansas; six sisters, Latasha Pankey, Vanessa Garcia both of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Kim (Ray) Sanders of Magnolia, Texas, Tonia (David) Citizen Fort Smith, Arkansas, Carla (Willie) Allen of Allen, Texas, and Pamela Miller of Fayetteville, Arkansas; a step-mother, Thurlyne Arnold of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Laura Arnold of Houston, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at New Covenant International Christian Center 4400 North N Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
Committal service and final resting place will be at the Center Point Cemetery Redland, Oklahoma.
