Michael Thomas Greene, 62, was the fifth of six children born to the marital union of Kenneth Thomas and Ivory Mae Greene. Both parents preceded him in death; as did his sister Cannie LaVerne and his brother Mark Keith, Sr.

Michael was baptized as an infant into the Roman Catholic faith and received elementary and secondary education within the Catholic School System. He graduated from St. Anne's Academy in 1973.

Michael was a Vietnam era Veteran, serving as a Medical Corpsman in the United States Air Force. His post military career included employment with Western Electric Company, Fort Chaffee Maintenance Department, Hewitt Packard and the Wal-Mart stores.

Michael was generally a quiet and reserved individual socially, however, he was a reflection and could offer an opinion on most any subject. He preferred no chaos or confusion in his life.

Michael leaves to cherish his loving memory, daughter, Sharina of Riverview, Florida; four grandchildren, Aamir, Valisha, Xavier, Gerson, Jr.; siblings, Kenneth (Carolyn) Steve of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheila Ann King of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Linda Kaye (Michael) Williams of Raytow, Missouri, Almon (Joey), Page (Shirl) both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Yvonne (Bill) Keaton-Martin, Willian Rudy Keaton and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, great-great nephews, great-great nieces, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 from 12 noon - 4:30PM at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.

Family will receive friends at 4412 Brockman Ave., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904 from 5:00PM until.

Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 22 North 13th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.

Committal service and final resting place will be held immediately following the service, 1:00PM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
